Dislocation of the extensor digitorum communis tendon at the level of metacarphophalangeal joint is frequently encountered in the hands of patients who have rheumatoid arthritis, but traumatic dislocation of the tendon is compartively rate. When

occurs, it is usually in the middle finger. We are reporting two cases which had traumatic dislocations of the extenosor tendons of the index finger at thermetacarphophalangeal joint and review related literature concerning clinical, anatomical,
